GARBAGE
DISPOSAL |
Odors:
Run hot water through disposal with it on. Add a
few ice cubes and rinds of 1 or 2 lemons. Grind completely.
You can also use 2 -3 tablespoons of baking soda instead
of lemon rinds.

CARPET |
Spot
Clean: Clean up spills as soon as they happen because
they will be harder to clean later. Blot the stain –
never rub as that can damage the texture of the carpet.
Use an all-purpose cleaner or carpet stain remover that
has first been tested on an inconspicuous area of the carpet.
Freshen: Sprinkle soda on
carpet, let sit for at least 1 hour. Vacuum thoroughly.

CANDLE
WAX |
On
carpets and upholstery: Put a brown paper bag over
the dried wax and run a hot iron over it. The bag will absorb
the wax.
Dried on wood floors: Soften
the wax with a hair dryer, then remove wax with paper towels.
Wash the spot with a combination of water and distilled
vinegar.

To
remove stains, sprinkle salt on a fresh cut lemon; rub very
lightly over stain. Do not rub hard or you will ruin the polished
finish. Wash off with soap and water.
